Mining
A skill-based idle RPG with a dark-fantasy heart and a soft rose-gold glow. Gather, craft, and fight your way through 17 zones — the world keeps ticking even while you're away.
01 — Vision
Rosewyn is a skill-based idle RPG in the spirit of Melvor Idle and Eldara: a dark-fantasy foundation, cleaned up with a lighter, clearer interface. Rose-gold is the brand color — unusual for the genre, and exactly where the name comes from.
Pick a background for your character, train the skills that interest you, and let progress keep running even when you're not actively playing. No mandatory sessions — just a world that responds to what you put into it.
02 — Skills
Four gathering skills feed nine trades, and everything you kill or defend against trains one of nine combat & support skills — the same three groups the game's own sidebar uses.

03 — World
Every zone escalates from its own regular threats to a named boss — 58 quests across 9 storylines trace that escalation from Millfield Farm to the Crimson Bastion.

A working farm at the edge of town — chickens scatter between the grain store and the fence, and cows graze in the far paddock.

A low tunnel system beneath the hills — goblins camp near the entrance, bats roost deeper in, and someone's been studying magic in a back chamber for too long. Boss: Burrow Chieftain.

A road crossing nobody maintains and everybody avoids — the wolves were here first, the bandits moved in after, and the cutthroats have been running the toll since.

A windswept ridge where deserters were once hanged and left. The ropes are long gone, but something still swings up here after dark.

The trees here are wrong — leafless in summer, bent at angles that don't match the wind. Boss: Blightroot Abomination.

Tunnels beneath the graveyard the living stopped mapping generations ago — what's left down here answers to neither. Boss: Risen Custodian.

Reeds taller than a person and water that never drains. Brigands hold the shallows, stalkers move through the middle, and something worse waits where the water turns black. Boss: Mire Broodmother.

Rusted machinery piled into makeshift bodies — whatever built these clearly didn't plan on them turning hostile. Boss: Scrapyard Overlord.

A burial chamber cracked open from the inside — whatever escaped never quite finished leaving. Boss: Crypt Sovereign.

A sunken arena ringed with old wooden stands — someone used to charge admission for this. Boss: Serpent Sovereign.

The keep has no living garrison. The knights that pace its halls are older than memory, and the wraiths on the battlements answer to nothing. Boss: Hollow King.

Mud-locked banners and broken lances mark a war nobody alive remembers fighting. The plague that followed it never quite left. Boss: Plague General.

Lightning finds this ridge more often than it should — the things that live here seem to like it that way.

A magic tower that folded in on itself generations ago — the wards outlived the walls, and whatever they were guarding still isn't done answering. Boss: Blackspire Archmagus.

Past the edge of any map worth trusting — ground that still smokes, black water, and things that came here to survive something worse elsewhere.

A temple emptied of its gods — something else moved in. It doesn't tolerate steel. Boss: The Hollow Goddess.

The last fortress standing in a war that ended badly — the warlord never got the news. Boss: Crimson Warlord.
04 — Characters
Every playable background comes with its own framing for the same world — cosmetic today, with room to grow into something more.
A pale, watchful mage marked by whatever she found beneath the Sunken Burrows or behind Hollow Sanctum's door — quieter now, and wiser for it.
A hardened ranger who reads the Mire like her own two hands; the fog never surprises her twice.
A warrior who's seen the inside of the Crimson Bastion and still carries the proof of it, dented armor and all.
A silent, calculating figure from the underworld, embodying everything a thief in Rosewyn aspires to be.
